The Hungarian Helicon Society organizes and supports several events in Toronto throughout the year. The events for our 2007/2008 season are listed below. In addition to organizing our own events, we supported other local events, which are also listed below and noted with an asterisk *.

Music and Chasons with Masi * ~ Saturday, September 8, 2007 - 7:30 p.m.
A unique evening of music and chansons with Masi, featuring world renowned accordionist Joseph Macerollo and legendary pianist Norman Amadio. Admission: $20.00. Location: Heliconian Hall, 35 Hazelton Avenue, Toronto.

The City of Hamilton presents The Great Romantics Festival in association with The American Liszt Society & School of the Arts, McMaster University.

Hungarian language proficiency exam official certificate awards ceremony ~ Thursday, October 18, 2007 - 6:30 p.m.
The official certificates will be presented to the examinees who took the exam in May 2007 at a joint event held at the University of Toronto, where the new Hungarian Program will be launched.

Helicon Handicrafts: Woodcarving ~ Emma Perlaky, Vice President of the Ontario Woodcarver’s Assocation, is hosting a woodcarving session. ~ Saturday, June 7, 2008 ~ 1:00 p.m.
The program will be held in Thornhill. Children are welcome! Admission: $5.00 and includes a BBQ.
